Czech Christmas Day

A day of Czech Christmas festivities at Bohemian National Hall, with musical celebration featuring traditional carols, Christmas market and light refreshments.

 

Program:

2:30 - 6:00 pm  Christmas Market and Light Refreshments (4th floor)

 

3:00 - 4:00 pm  Holiday Songs: From the Old to the New World (3rd floor)
A festive musical celebration and sing-along featuring traditional Czech carols and other seasonal music. Performers include: Michael Beckerman (piano), Laura Goldberg (violin) and Klara Zikova (voice).

 

4:00 - 6:00 pm  Czech Christmas Festival
With mezzo-sopravno Pavlina Horakova, her musical guests and young singers from the Czech School in Queens performing Czech and American Christmas songs. Decorate Christmas cookies, pet our carp fish and take a picture in the Christmas photo booth.

 

Special Program for Czech Center Club Members:

12:00 - 2:00 pm  Czech Christmas Brunch (Bohemian Spirit Restaurant at Bohemian National Hall)
Enjoy delicious traditional dishes, mulled wine and classical Czech holiday atmosphere at the start of the holiday season. A special treat for Czech Club members only.
