The Art of Traditional Easter Egg

[BBLA at Bohemian National Hall]

 

Moravian folk artists from Breclav (Czech Republic), "malerecky" Marie Svigrova and Dagmar Benesova (a founder of Folk Academy), will discuss and present the art of traditional Easter egg decorating design and techniques. Please note that THIS IS NOT a classical workshop! But, we encourage you to bring your own supplies, paper, and markers to take notes.

 

The artists will stop by in New York City before their return to the Czech Republic, after giving a workshop at the Czech Embassy in Washington, D.C. 

 

In Czech. Interpreters will be available.
