Illustrative. Stuffed toys representing The Mole and His Friends.

A monthly Czech program for children aged 3-7 with parents. This is the first meeting of the kids’ playgroup this school year. Come spend time with the beloved Czech cartoon character, “Krtecek” (Little Mole). THIS EVENT IS IN CZECH ONLY.

Virtually every Czech knows Krtek. Adults and kids alike adore this clever little cartoon character by Zdenek Miler. During the playgroup, Krtek and his friends – “Myska, Zabka, Zajic a Jezek” (the mouse, the frog, the hare, and the hedgehog) – will come to life in the hands of actress Katarina Vizina.

In addition to the interactive puppet performance, the kids will craft their own mole, sing songs, practice Czech rhymes, and have fun together.

Do you have a Krtek-themed toy at home? Bring it along.

Please bring a snack for your child. You are welcome to contribute a small item for our shared table as well.

Online registration is required and open until November 18. Registration fee: $10 per child, due at the door (cash only, please).
